AFC Completes Successful Exhibition in NY nature art

Following the great success of the inaugural show, the Artists for Conservation Foundation (AFC) ended its second annual juried exhibition –"The Art of Conservation - An International Exhibit of Nature in Art" – featuring the nature art of its members. The Art of Conservation celebrates artistic excellence in the depiction of nature, raises awareness of conservation issues and directly supports organizations dedicated to addressing them.

The AFC has been invited to participate in the upcoming Wildlife Conservation Network Expo, October 3 in San Francisco, California. We will have a booth emblazoned with the AFC logo and material to catch the attention of the many foundations and private philanthropists who attend the event and the associated garden party. The event will take place at the Mission Bay Conference Center in San Francisco, California.

More recently Mike has concentrated on his wildlife art, painting on a much larger scale with light and shadow being as much of a feature as the wildlife.

He has exhibited at The Blauvelt Museum in Oradell NJ, the Bennington Arts Center and the prestigious Birds in Art at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum.
