A Brother's Close Bond
Subject: African Lions Dimensions (centimeters): 46 x 91 Medium: oil Description: It is always surprising to see how affectionate lions can be to each other. They seem to go out of their way to reassure each other, by lying close together when resting and rubbing heads and bodies against each other when on the move. The 2 males in this painting seemed to have a very close allianceand were probably brothers. To see these huge perdators, quite capable of bringing down a buffalo between them, share such a tender moment together, was extremely moving.
