Subject: Australian Echidna surrounded by bark, leaves of a Gum tree plus a Waratah flower emblem of NSW Dimensions (centimeters): 43 x 37 Medium: Coloured Pencils Description: An Australian mammal, the Echidna (Tachyglossus aculeatus) lying on it's back surrounded by bark and leaves of Red River Gum ( Eucalyptus camaldulensis). A NSW Waratah Flower (Telopea speciosissima) in the back ground. Five Ants (Iridomyrmex humilis) are found in the drawing as well. Echidna's eat ants and termites.
