Description: We live in Central Florida....with all it's traffic, tourist spots, and strip malls. But, it's also on the edge of prime bear habitat. It's not surprising that bear and human encounters occur. What is surprising, is how quiet and well camouflaged bears tend to be. They don't stand-out, they blend-in. If you only take a quick glance, you might miss seeing one.
This piece was juried into The Art of Conservation 2008 exhibition.
