Subject: Jaguar Dimensions (inches): 36 x 36 Medium: Oil Description: Inspired by a pathway I came across in the Panamanian jungle, I could easily see a jaguar using it at night when people were not about. Unfortunately, the jaguar is listed as Near Threatened on the IUCN Red List, primarily due to human conflict in the forms of hunting/poaching, deforestation and development. In Panama, where the land mass is very limited north to south, the risk of conflict is much higher. For now, the jaguar continues to hold on.
