Subject: Nature Dimensions (inches): 16 x 46 x 0.25 Medium: Acrylic on masonite Description: Clouds have always intrigued me, their constant varying shape and the moods they portray, fierce and angry or soft and complacent. They can draw you into a different world. In this painting, I have depicted them as an "eerie wall" almost silently drifting by; all you can hear is the wind blowing and possibly the faint sounds of the kangaroos bounding by. The title 'Escape' could refer to the kangaroos running from imminent danger or maybe the feeling of 'escape' you get when you immerse yourself in clouds as they blow by.
