One of those creatures is the Great Horned Owl. The captivating gaze of the owl with it's big, round, childlike eyes are so full of mystery that they can grab you and hold you. They portray an innocence that masks the skilled, silent hunters of the night. This is the characteristic that I hoped to catch most in this portrayal of the Great Horned Owl.
