Shimmer is inspired by a scene observed by Gary in the Ngorongoro Crater in northern Tanzania. They are the same two hippos he drew in 'Baby Love'.

Details: Gary personally oversees the printing process to ensure superb quality reproduction from his original pencil drawing. Shimmer is limited to only 250 copies worldwide with 25 Artist Proofs. The fine art paper he has chosen to best show off the incredible detail is Italian-made Fabriano 5. Ideal for lithographic printing this paper (50% cotton blended with carefully selected raw materials) is acid free to guarantee excellent permanence and resistance to ageing. Gary then quality checks each print which is individually numbered by hand and personally signed by the artist.
