The Fundación Vida Silvestre Argentina (FVSA) is a non-profit and independent private institution, with a mission of promoting the preservation of the bio-diversity, the sustainable development and the change of consumption patterns that predate the natural resources. FVSA is formed by a group of professionals from diverse vocations (teachers, biologists, museologists, guardaparques, lawyers, accountants, geographists and specialists in diverse aspects of the preservation of the natural heritage). With this multidisciplinary team, FVSA spreads its activities and concern to the whole country: sometimes, creating its own reserves or closing treaties with private owners (the so called 'FVSA refuges'). It also struggles in order to help create new national or provincial parks, research projects, of sustainable use and of environmental education. It denuncia ilícitos y generates opinion over the grat environmental issues and has a diagnostic of its own about the 'Environmental situation in Argentina', that has been distributed among the the main national authorities and that is available at the specialized libraries with the care for nature. |

Art for ConservationTM Commitment Goal:

Fundacion Vida Silvestre Argentina has been indicated by AFC members as a potential recipient of donations by participating artists. AFC's Art for ConservationTM program, provides a forum to promote artwork that benefits recognized conservation organizations such as Fundacion Vida Silvestre Argentina.
AFC members have voluntarily and independently earmarked a portion of the proceeds from the sale of their artwork to Fundacion Vida Silvestre Argentina. AFC's Art for ConservationTM program provides a forum to help promote artwork for sale that includes such a commitment. Each artists's commitment is contingent on the sale of their work and the above estimate is a potential total based on the completion of sale of any original work and/or limited editions. The AFC is not involved in any way with artwork sales transactions, nor does it make any guarantees relating to artist commitments. The AFC takes no commission whatsoever from the sale of artwork under the Art for ConservationTM program, unless explicitly indicated.
