  Humane Society International
The Humane Society International is the largest animal protection organisation in the world with over 9 million supporters globally.
They: -seekto create a humane and sustainable world for all animals, including people; and,
- through  education, advocacy and empowerment, particularly in developing countries worldwide, they seek to forge a lasting and comprehensive change in human consciousness and behaviour; to relieve animal suffering; to  prevent animal cruelty, abuse, neglect, and exploitation; and to protect wild animals and their environments.
As the international arm of The Humane Society of the United States, HSI addresses issues such as inhumane practices and conditions affecting companion and farm animals, illegal trade in wildlife, threats to endangered species, slaughter of marine mammals, and the use of animals in research and testing. HSI works with national and jurisdictional governments, humane organizations, and individual animal protectionists to find practical, culturally sensitive, and long-term solutions to common animal problems.
Founded in 1991, HSI has expanded The HSUS's animal-protection activities into Central and South America, Africa, and Asia. HSI's Asian, Australian, and European offices, as well as offices in Costa Rica and Canada, help carry out field activities and programs.

Art for ConservationTM Commitment Goal:
$3,100.00 US.

Humane Society International has been indicated by AFC members as a potential recipient of donations by participating artists. AFC's Art for ConservationTM program, provides a forum to promote artwork that benefits recognized conservation organizations such as Humane Society International.

AFC members have voluntarily and independently earmarked a portion of the proceeds from the sale of their artwork to Humane Society International. AFC's Art for ConservationTM program provides a forum to help promote artwork for sale that includes such a commitment. Each artists's commitment is contingent on the sale of their work and the above estimate is a potential total based on the completion of sale of any original work and/or limited editions. The AFC is not involved in any way with artwork sales transactions, nor does it make any guarantees relating to artist commitments. The AFC takes no commission whatsoever from the sale of artwork under the Art for ConservationTM program, unless explicitly indicated.
