Elephant damage
Friday, October 5, 2007
Elephants are notoriously destructive feeders. They tear down trees, ringbark trees and dig huge holes. This is typical of what an area can look like when elephants have passed by. In the rainy season most of these bushes and trees will sprout new leaves but very few will ever grow into full-sized trees and in this way elephants can change their own habitat.
