We constantly keep on the lookout for new members whose talent would represent us well. If you are a highly skilled artist who depicts nature AND are dedicated to the conservation cause, you may wish to consider applying to join this non-profit invitational group of elite nature artists. As a Group, we work collectively to promote our work, participate in members-only initiatives, publications and art shows, and at the same time, promote the conservation of out natural heritage. You will join up to 500 other artists from around the world as a Signature Member.
While we operate as a non-profit society, operated by volunteers, we do have real expenses that are shared among the members. Please see Membership Benefits/Dues. |

How to Get Invited to Join the Group |
To preserve the standard of talent in the AFC, membership is by invitation only.
When submitting to be invited, the following should be considered:
- Submit your work (go to “Apply Now”) to be considered for inclusion in the AFC. Send photos (not slides) of your artwork, a CD or DVD of your work, or, if your work is already posted on the Internet, send the Web address link where we can view your work to info@natureartists.com. If you are accepted after your work is reviewed, you will be formally invited to join the AFC. Once we have received your submission, the review generally takes between one and three weeks.
- Send details supporting your committment to the conservation cause. This might include donation of artwork to conservation causes, volunteer work, affiliations with conservation organizations. Also please indicate your willingness to pledge a portion of selected artwork to conservation-oriented organizations.
- If you know a current member artist, you may wish to approach him or her and ask them to send an e-mail supporting your membership application. While all applications are still subject to a review process it is helpful to get the support of an existing member who has direct knowledge of your work.
- While membership normally continues as long as annual dues are paid, the AFC reserves the right to subject any existing member to a review process to maintain membership standards. The AFC reserves the right to withdraw membership from those whose standards no longer meet the required threshold.

Getting Your Site Up and Running |
One of the important benefits of membership is your personal website and Internet address. Once invited, you will be asked to submit all required material and a check (or online credit card payment) for the appropriate amount (see Dues and Fees). Included in the invitation will be a user name and a password which give you access to the easy-to-use, sophisticated Artist Web Site Management Tools.
These tools allow you to quickly and easily input the initial information and images for your new Web site, which you can later edit to keep the site up-to-date. This is the easiest and fastest way to have your Web site up and visible to the world. Simply log in from the site’s home page using your username and password and follow the step-by-step instructions. This involves little more than filling out forms. You can add material and make changes to your site at any time.
If you wish, we can do the initial inputting for you, including up to five images, at no additional cost. Once your initial site is up and running, you are responsible for the maintenance of its content. However, if you do not want to manage your own site, we can take over these duties for you for a reasonable cost (see Dues and Fees). |
