Stolen kill
Friday, October 5, 2007
The 2 male dogs had just killed a young kudu but by the time we reached the scene it had been stolen by 2 lionesses who had been hanging around in the area. Hopefully the dogs managed to eat some before the lionesses appeared. This is exectly why the dogs eat so fast - they never know how much time they have before a lion or group of hyaenas appear to steal their food.
